Miswak - natural toothbrush

The product pictured is a "miswak" or "siwak" – a natural toothbrush made from the branches of the Salvadora persica tree. Miswak serves as an environmentally friendly alternative to a toothbrush, as it requires no toothpaste and has naturally antibacterial properties. Miswak contains natural fluorides, which are beneficial structural elements of our skeleton and teeth. Silicon is an essential element for the maintenance of connective tissue, cartilage, bones, hair, nails, and teeth. Calcium sulfate is important in the development of bones and teeth. The gypsum crystals act as cleaning particles. They help loosen stubborn dirt from the teeth. Another ingredient is tannins, which are responsible for the slightly bitter taste. Tannins have a soothing effect on mucous membranes, accelerate the healing process of injuries, and inhibit inflammation. The saponins, vitamin C and flavonoids contained in it strengthen the immune system, prevent certain types of cancer, regulate blood pressure and also inhibit inflammation.

The miswak has been scientifically tested and found to be excellent in terms of hygiene and cleaning properties.
